Charter questions

When is final payment due, and how does APA work in the Grenadines?

The balance is due about six weeks before you board, and the APA is normally 25 to 35 per cent of the charter fee, paid at the same time.

APA is the Advance Provisioning Allowance: an onboard budget the captain spends on food, drink, fuel and the island fees, reconciled before you disembark with the unspent balance refunded. A number of the catamarans here run all-inclusive instead and carry no APA at all.

Your agreement names the exact date. We tell you up front which model your yacht uses, because it changes what you hand over and what you are asked for on the day.
