What is there to do ashore in the Grenadines?

Less than in the Mediterranean, and that is why people come. One town evening, a handful of beach bars, and the rest is water.

Bequia has the only real town in the chain, with the Belmont Walkway along the water. Mustique has Basil’s Bar and a defined visitor area. Union Island has Clifton and the kitesurfing centre. The Tobago Cays and Mayreau have essentially nothing ashore at all.

If your group wants restaurants and nightlife every evening, this is the wrong destination and we will say so. If they want to swim off the boat for a week, there is nowhere better.
